GREEN Hydrogen Fuel is the Solution

The hydrogen fuel cell was first invented back in 1839 by Sir William Robert Grove. Modern adaptation of his technology has made it possible to run cars, trucks, aircraft, watercraft, EVEN OUR ELECTRICAL GRIDS on hydrogen and produce water as the only emission. There are many production methods for isolation of hydrogen fuel. Some outdated methods involving coal or unnatural methane are not sustainable nor clean. Now GREEN methods shown below are paving the way for a new era of hydrogen fuel production...

The goal of the United States government is to reduce the cost of hydrogen fuel by 80% in one decade...

"The first Energy Earthshot, launched June 7, 2021—Hydrogen Shot—seeks to reduce the cost of clean hydrogen by 80% to $1 per 1 kilogram in 1 decade ("1 1 1"). The Hydrogen Shot establishes a framework and foundation for clean hydrogen deployment in the American Jobs Plan, which includes support for demonstration projects. Industries are beginning to implement clean hydrogen to reduce emissions, yet many hurdles remain to deploying it at scale. Currently, hydrogen from renewable energy costs about $5 per kilogram. Achieving the Hydrogen Shot’s 80% cost reduction goal can unlock new markets for hydrogen, including steel manufacturing, clean ammonia, energy storage, and heavy-duty trucks. This would create more clean energy jobs, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and position America to compete in the clean energy market on a global scale. These efforts would ensure that environmental protection and benefits for local communities are a priority."

How does a hydrogen fuel cell work?

1. Hydrogen in gas form in a tank finds a positive terminal. Tank pressure test must be strong enough to avoid any hydrogen explosion.

2. Oxygen enters a negative terminal.

3. Platinum, serving as the catalyst, allows a chemical reaction of hydrogen atoms to split. Protons and electrons are emitted in the reaction.

4. As the electrons travel towards the positive terminal, called a cathode, an electrolyte layer attracts protons.

5. An H2 and O2 reaction occurs in the cathode.

6. Electric charge released from this can power a motor.

7. As protons travel to the cathode via an alternate route, oxygen is introduced and the result is water steam.

8. Water can be drained as it cools from vapor state.

GREEN Hydrogen Fuel is Happening NOW!

The timeline that green hydrogen takes will decide the fate of our planet Earth. In order to fully replace the internal combustion engine powered by gasoline, green hydrogen vehicles need massive governement incentives. If the USA cannot agree to outlaw gasoline and oil in favor of green hydrogen fuel and of course some electrified transportation as well, we are in for more climate chaos on an increasing curve (catastrphic failure of the Earth as a habitable environment). Does that mean abandon all hope for Earth and head for outer space? PLEASE NO.

Forget Outer Space

Instead, transitioning to green hydrogen is the most feasible solution to the fact that oil will run out, bio-diesel freezes and mines for electric batteries is not sustainable either.

Alternatives to Green Hydrogen Fuel

Water Powered Engines Will Freeze

That's what this planet needs. We don't need to go into outer space... We need to stay here, fix our problems and run vehicles on water. Already been done by inventors. Apparently the exhaust is just steam. But wait a minute, what about freezing temperatures? Yeah, that won't work for planet Earth. But green hydrogen fuel cells will. And that's why so many countries including the USA have begun the green hydrogen transition.

We can; however, replace unnatural methane with natural Bio-Gas

Pipe Trouble

We do need to address the issue of delivery of hydorgen fuel. It is being piped through a network of outdated methane pipes that are not appropriate for the pressure load of hydrogen. This is unsafe and unwise. What we can do is opt for ground transport and tank storage for the refilling stations. As for off-grid home use... updated piping for hydrogen's specific pressure grade will have to take place for underground networking of safe pipes. Perhaps homes and businesses should avoid hydrogen piping and utilize their piping for Bio-Gas only.
